METRO is an I/O group based in NYC. This group provides a space for I/O psychologists and students to come together and learn about topics and methods to solve today's most pressing organizational challenges. There are monthly workshops and events to learn about various topics of interest as well as network with professionals. Membership for students is $50 yearly and includes attendance to any workshops throughout the year. METRO is geared more toward those looking to enter the professional (rather than academic) environment after graduation. Students unsure of whether they are interested in pursuing a career after completing this program or pursuing a PhD can utilize METRO’s events to see where their professional interests lie. The PhD I/O Psych Program Director, Dr. Dan Simonet, is currently the VP of METRO.​​
