R is a free programming language utilized for statistical computing and graphics. Due to its versatility and range of features, R is a common language used by data scientists and statisticians.
RStudio is an integrated development environment that can be downloaded only after the user has already installed R. RStudio is user-friendly with a host of packages and tools to assist the user with programming. While R may be used without RStudio, RStudio can't be used without R.
